2. LinkLoot services
LinkLoot is a platform for sharing, curating and managing digital content, links, prompts, media and community contributions.
Certain functions or content may be available free of charge or in exchange for Loot-Gems. Loot-Gems are purely virtual usage units within the platform. They are not e-money, cryptocurrency or legal tender.
No claim is made to uninterrupted availability of specific functions unless expressly agreed otherwise.
3. Right of withdrawal for digital content purchases
Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal in distance contracts. Special rules apply to digital content.
3.1 General right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from a contract for paid digital content within fourteen days without giving any reason, unless your right of withdrawal has already expired under the applicable legal rules.

3.2 Early expiry
Loot-Gems constitute digital content not supplied on a tangible medium. Your right of withdrawal expires early if, before completing the purchase, you expressly consent to immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal.
No paid checkout is started without this confirmation. After successful payment, Loot-Gems are credited to your account immediately.
3.3 Effects of a valid withdrawal
If a withdrawal is valid and the right of withdrawal has not yet expired, we will reimburse payments received without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after receiving the withdrawal notice.

4. User content and rights of use
You are responsible for ensuring that content, links, images, text and other contributions uploaded by you do not infringe third-party rights and are not unlawful.
By uploading content, you grant us a simple, non-exclusive, territorially unrestricted right to use that content to the extent necessary for operating, displaying, distributing and technically processing it within LinkLoot.
We may remove content or restrict accounts if there are concrete indications of legal violations, abuse, spam, malware or material breaches of these terms.
5. Prices and payment
Where paid services are offered, the prices displayed during checkout apply. Payment processing is handled by Stripe.
VAT is not shown where the requirements of the German small-business scheme pursuant to Section 19 UStG are met.
6. Liability
We are fully liable in cases of intent and gross negligence and for injury to life, body or health.
In the event of slight negligence in the breach of essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the typical and foreseeable damage. Essential contractual obligations are those whose fulfilment is required for proper performance of the contract.
We do not assume any guarantee for third-party content, links or statements. Mandatory statutory liability provisions, in particular under the DDG or MStV, remain unaffected.
7. Final provisions
The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
If the customer is a merchant, a legal person under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction is Düren where legally permissible.
