The Toniebox Connector helps when a Creative-Tonie is not just filled once, but gets new content again and again: bedtime stories, learning episodes, holiday greetings, birthday recordings, or self-produced audio plays. For a single upload, the manual default path is probably faster.

What is a Toniebox?

For recurring uploads

Prepare new episodes, put them first, and sync the Toniebox afterwards without rebuilding the same flow each time.

No LinkLoot password vault

Tonie Cloud credentials stay only in your local environment or in an untracked file on your device.

Guarded destructive actions

Clearing requires explicit confirmation, reorder rejects incomplete lists, and dry runs preview changes first.

Workflow

1. Set up the kit locally

Download after unlock, unpack, create Python environment, install dependencies.

2. Set credentials locally only

Use environment variables or ignored `.credentials.json`; LinkLoot never asks for them.

3. Check Tonie and audio

List Creative-Tonie IDs live, choose supported audio, and dry-run the upload.

4. Upload and sync

Run the upload locally, verify ordering, and sync the Toniebox afterwards.

Use only for Creative-Tonies and audio files you own or may lawfully use.
Always run `--dry-run` before the first upload and target the Creative-Tonie by ID.
Never paste credentials into LinkLoot, Git, chats, logs, or public snippets.
Use online videos only when downloading, conversion, and private use are permitted; streaming services, DRM, and third-party content without rights are excluded.
If Tonies changes the cloud API, the kit may need an update.

Legal positioning

LinkLoot is not affiliated with Tonies, Boxine, or their affiliated companies. Toniebox and Creative-Tonie are trademarks or product names of their respective owners.

The tool kit uses an unofficial Python library. Its documentation states that the project is not associated with Boxine, is used at your own risk, and that the underlying API may change.

For this tool, LinkLoot does not process Tonie credentials on LinkLoot servers. Unlocking the kit gives you digital instructions, local files, and review evidence, not a hosted upload service.
