OpenAI says the number of users in Brazil has nearly doubled over the past year. The public-sector angle matters because these are deployment and governance relationships, not simply local marketing. OpenAI says the Hospital das Clínicas at the University of São Paulo will evaluate a clinical information infrastructure prototype with physician judgment and human oversight preserved.
